Inspired by the pigment’s lightfast character, we created Thalo (denim) in its image; a wardrobe staple so simple yet deeply luxurious. Good jeans are timeless, dependable, and uncomplicated. Thalo recenters this belief for women whose bodies have been left out of the status quo. Our design disrupts a decades’ old sizing system and uses measurements from real women, fit to over 30 diverse body types. You are our template for perfection.
We work with a select group of highly considered partners from across the globe, with a focus on small-batch production. Our Italian denim mill is family owned and operated since 1938 and committed to sustainable practices to the highest degree. Once our denim is stateside, we work with a local Los Angeles-based producer on limited production runs. Each garment is crafted with top quality materials and attention to detail. It is integral to our business that we have personal relationships with the people making the garments, and have chosen our vendors accordingly for their strong values and quality of work.
